Capitola Girl is a bead-stringing fanatic who resides on the central coast of California. She was born a beach girl and raised by the coast in San Diego, CA. She splits her time between being a freelance technical & marketing communications consultant as well as an independent jewelry designer from her home in Capitola-by-the-Sea.
A friend introduced Capitola Girl to beading in 2004, and the fascination and fun she had beading her first pair of wire wrap earrings immediately turned into an obsession. She loves stringing beaded necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. And, she gets inspiration for her beaded creations from a variety of sources - everything from the outfit she has on, to her mood, and the cool things other people wear.
